Bringing the farm to town

This was a Landscape that was quite dear to my heart. My Aunty had the biggest and best corner block which i was told was the neighbours garden too. Imagine a vast patch of dahlias grown in beautiful farm soil, trucked in from their palgarup farm. Then my dear uncle pasted away and the dahlias were replaced with a vast volume of roses, all different colours, looking as amazing as the dahlias beforehand.

It was obvious to us this soil was amazing and anything planted would do great. So my Dear Aunty is getting older now and couldn't manage to prune all the roses she had , with out ending up with scratches and bruises head to toe. So like all things they had to go , and were given loving homes ( of course). But what did we replace the sentimental roses with??

We did toy with many ideas and many different opinions, before we came up with using something of importance From her old Farm to remind her of her late husband as she sits in the patio looking over the garden.

So we found and old railway Axle out the farm and the idea built from there, rocks were suggested from my cousin Matt and then instead we decided to build the railway with the tracks and all.

Here's the final product....

the hard steel and wood, softened by the bush flowers
